Certech’s approach is to focus on high value-added analytical services, i.e.activities requiring the interpretation of measurements by specialists who combine instrumental expertise with a deep knowledge and understanding of the customer activity.
Certech collaborates with more than 250 customers each year and has access to a large number of state of the art instruments.
The resources and expertise are organized in three technology platforms:
- Air quality platform
- Materials platform
- Chemistry and industrial processes platform
Certech is a multidisciplinary team of 35 highly qualified and experienced, responsive and customer-focused employees in the field of materials, processes and environment.
Certech operates under the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and also as test laboratory for the automotive industry (PSA/Stellantis, Renault Nissan, Toyota).
Certech is a scientific institution approved by the Federal Council of Ministres of January 1, 2006 and a research center approved by decree of September 18, 2008 relating to the support of research, development and innovation in Wallonia.
Certech is eligible for technological consulting and contracting via the so-called “chèques technologiques” for Wallonia or “KMO-portefeuille” for Flanders. These grants are dedicated to SMEs, to support and promote innovation.
Certech has been approved as service provider according to the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. As a consequence, Certech is eligible for the Research Tax Credit program (CIR).
