As part of the development of innovative and intensified process for the continuous synthesis of solids, Certech acquired an X-Ray diffraction (XRD) equipment D2Phaser. This diffractometer is compact, does not need external cooling and allows the fast (a few minutes) analysis of powder. Very low quantities of materials are required to perform non-destructive analyses. The equipment allows phase identification, degree of crystallinity determination and calculation of parameters such as crystallite size or cell parameters. The D2Phaser is equipped with a LynxEye detector (which has an increased sensitivity and better discrimination of fluorescence) and its angular range goes from -3 to 160 ° 2Theta.
